Quick words anyone can draw
This page uses only the easy level of our drawing deck: 120 words across animals, objects, food, nature, places, actions and people. They are ideal for a first game, a family with mixed ages, or a fast lightning round.
Why easy words make a better game
When words are too hard, rounds stall and people lose interest. Easy words keep the guesses flying and give nervous artists a win. Start with a few easy rounds, then move to the full Pictionary word generator once everyone is warmed up.
Lightning round rules
- Set the timer to 30 seconds.
- The drawer gets as many words as possible: tap New word after each correct guess.
- Count the correct guesses on the scoreboard. Highest total after three rounds wins.

Frequently asked questions
What are easy Pictionary words?
Easy words are common, concrete things with simple shapes, such as a cat, a sun, a cup or an umbrella. They can be drawn in a few seconds and guessed by almost anyone.
Who should use easy words?
Beginners, young children, English learners, and anyone who says they cannot draw. They are also great for warm-up rounds before switching to harder words.
How can I make easy words more challenging?
Shorten the timer to 30 seconds, or ban circles, or make the drawer use their non-dominant hand.
